What is this?
Over the next few months, we plan to travel to most Indian states by rail and road. As we try to realize a wishful itinerary, we have set up a virtual diary in the form of this blog to share our observations. We will write short notes on various subjects and will try to upload media as frequently as possible.
If you live in India, it is very likely that over the course of the next few weeks, we will be in your city/state. We would love to meet you over a cup of chai. Feel free to write to us – theindialog@gmail.com
Why are we doing this?
While we cannot offer a specific answer to this query, we can say that our minds have been full of India for the past decade. Therefore, our current perception of the country is a complex mix of fact and fiction. Given our academic backgrounds and the current market environment, this trip provides a rare opportunity for self-study. We hope that the result of our adventure is a more accurate reading of India from an economic, political and social standpoint.

I recommend listening to Tuck Prof. Vijay (VG) Govindarajan on a GE Reports website. It’s all about VG’s latest concept of “Reverse Innovation” with examples from medical devices in India.
